New series of free family workshops on healthy eating, budgeting and cookery start

-

A new series of ten free family workshops on healthy eating, budgeting and cookery start at Highbridge’s Morland Hub today (Tuesday April 29th).

The sessions aim to enhance budgeting ability, improve your cookery skills and increase your knowledge on nutrition.

Sponsored by Burnham and Highbridge Town Council and Wessex Water, they are being run in partnership with The Morland Hub.

They are being held at the Morland Hub and Trowbridge Hall, Highbridge from 4pm – 7pm.

To book place, contact ESS Education and Support Services on 01458 781838 or visit the Morland Hub for further information.

“The Morland Hub and Live-West have donated funds to allow the purchase of slow cookers. This will enable all participants to leave the budgeting and healthy eating workshop with a free slow cooker, a budget tool kit, recipe card, cooked meal on the day and ingrediencies for a hot meal the next day,” says a spokesperson.

All workshops are free, subject to eligibility, and are designed to empower individuals and families in self-reliance, improving lives and communities.
