Burnham-On-Sea motorists are being warned that the M5 motorway will close both ways between Burnham and Bridgwater this week while work is carried out.
The overnight closure will be in place between 9pm and 6am on the road and two slip roads from Thursday (April 24th).
Highways England says the closure will impact the northbound and southbound carriageways of the M5 between Junctions 22 and 23, as well as the northbound entry slip road at Junction 23 and the southbound entry slip road at Junction 22.
During the closures traffic will be diverted off the M5 motorway and along local roads. The closure will not apply to emergency services.
