Burnham-On-Sea’s MP Ashley Fox is calling on residents to vote for their favourite independent shops.
The MP has launched a public vote to decide Bridgwater & Burnham’s Favourite Independent Shops of 2025.
After calling for nominations, the MP has whittled down more than 400 suggestions to create a shortlist, which residents can now cast their vote for.
The MP’s competition celebrates businesses across 15 categories, including Beauty, Pampering & Wellness, Butchers, Cafés, Clothing & Accessories, and more.
Voting is open now at ashleyfox.org.uk and will run until Sunday, April 6th, with the winners announced on Friday, April 11th.
“I want to thank everyone who took the time to nominate their favourite local businesses,” Mr Fox said.
“The enthusiasm from the community shows just how much we value our independent shops. Now, it’s time to vote and give these businesses the recognition they deserve.”
