Sedgemoor Vintage Club hands bumper cheque to Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital

-

Members of Sedgemoor Vintage Club have presented a cheque for £1,000 to The Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital following a successful show held near Burnham-On-Sea last year.

The funds have been donated from proceeds raised at the 2024 Sedgemoor Vintage Show, held at West Huntspill last July.

Zoe Steer, head of fundraising for Love Musgrove, thanked the group: “Your continued support makes an enormous difference to the Beacon Centre and by supporting your local NHS charity, you are improving the experience of patients admitted to Musgrove, creating a comfortable engaging environment, and supporting their family and friends. Our talented colleagues are so grateful for your kindness.”

Sedgemoor Vintage Club meets monthly at the 37 Club in Puriton and arranges various events throughout the year. Their next event is a ‘Vintage Sort Out’ at the 37 Club on Sunday 6th April when gates open at 7.30am.

Exhibitors, traders, and advertisers are also invited to enter the 2025 Sedgemoor Vintage Show, which is on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th July at West Huntspill. Entry forms can be found on the club website.
