A steady flow of supporters flocked to the RSPCA’s two-day fundraising event held at its Brent Knoll centre over the weekend (March 15th and 16th).
The North Somerset RSPCA branch hosted the pop-up shop weekend at its centre in Brent Road on both Saturday and Sunday.
It included stalls selling bric-a-brac, books, pet accessories and refreshments to help raise funds for maintaining the centre.
Brent Knoll RSPCA Centre’s Dawn Pawlett, pictured below, said: “A big thank you goes to everyone who came along – it was a busy and successful weekend.”
”We look forward to welcoming supporters along to our next pop-up shop weekend on April 26th and 27th.”
The North Somerset branch is a separate registered charity to the national RSPCA and so says it relies on support from the local community.
Its work includes helping animals await rehoming and ensures they are looked after in the area.
