Brent Knoll’s RSPCA centre found new local homes for dozens of pets during 2023

Brent Knoll’s RSPCA centre has announced how many pets it found new homes for during the past 12 months.

The RSPCA North Somerset Branch says it adopted out 148 cats among scores of animals during 2023.

The centre in Brent Road, Brent Knoll has thanked its supporters for their backing which enabled the charity to rescue and rehome pets.

An RSPCA North Somerset Branch spokesperson says: “An enormous thank you to everyone – our supporters, our volunteers, our team of staff and of course all the many adopters of 2023.”

“We are delighted to share that in 2023 we have adopted out a fantastic 49 dogs, 148 cats, six rabbits, two guinea pigs, two rats and not forgetting Ernest the ferret!”

“We really cannot thank everyone enough – the last year has been spent slowly recovering from the pandemic which really hit charities hard.”

“With everyone’s determination we have continued the amazing core work we strive for – Rescue, Rehabilitation and Re-homing of animals in the local area. We wish everyone all the good health and happiness for 2024.”
