A weather warning for high winds has been issued for the Burnham-On-Sea area today (Saturday, December 9th).
The Met Office has an amber warning in force from 9am until 11.45pm for strong winds.
It says: “Winds will increase in the west then across other areas through the afternoon. Gusts of 45 to 55 mph are likely quite widely.”
“Winds will then ease slowly from the west through the evening.”
