A local company has given a seasonal boost to Burnham-On-Sea’s Waffle Hub Community Cafe.
Millard and Son has donated a Christmas tree to the community hub at Burnham’s Methodist Church in College Street for the festive season.
“The Waffle is very grateful for this kind doantion and would like to thank Millard and Son for the beautiful Christmas tree,” says the hub’s Liz Bennett.

This donation was organised by local councillors James Warren and Ben Metcalfe who delivered and installed the tree in the Methodist Church.
The Waffle Hub Community Café – which recently achieved official charity status – opened its doors in September 2022 at Burnham-On-Sea Methodist Church in College Street.
Since then, it has grown from a simple cafe serving freshly-cooked waffles to holding a Digital Cafe, and offering community cookery classes, to becoming a community hub for locals with the Burnham-On-Sea Repair Cafe and a clothing bank.
