Secret World Wildlife Rescue has opened its newly-refurbished charity shop in Burnham-On-Sea today (Thursday, November 23rd).
The shop, which is located on Burnham-On-Sea High Street, offers a wide variety of products to help support the work of the charity in rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing wildlife.
The shop stocks a wide variety of second-hand items, ranging from clothing and books to electrical items and homeware plus cards, calendars and books.
A spokesperson says: “All proceeds from the shop go directly towards the charity’s work in helping sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. All donations are gratefully received and are put to good use by the charity to help animals in need.”
“We accept good quality donations of clothes, books, bric a brac etc. We are unable to take any furniture at this time.”
The newly refurbished shop is open on Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm, the charity is hoping that the shop will provide a great opportunity for local people to support Secret World’s work.
