Brean Leisure Park is supporting The Salvation Army to ensure more children experience the joy of unwrapping a present this Christmas.
In a heart-warming initiative, the park is inviting guests and local residents to contribute to its Christmas Present Appeal by donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts.
The gifts will be distributed in the community, offering a ray of festive light to those who may be facing financial challenges during the holiday season.
For many families, providing Christmas presents for their children can add significant strain to already stretched budgets.
Charities, such as The Salvation Army, play a crucial role in supporting these families, offering help through food banks and various donations.
Brean Leisure Park recognises the importance of community support and is proud to stand alongside The Salvation Army in making a difference.
Sarah House, Director of Brean Leisure Park, said: “We are proud to support The Salvation Army with this appeal and to spread some festive joy. Please help us by donating a gift for children who might not otherwise receive a Christmas present.”
Brean Leisure Park is making it easy for everyone to get involved in the initiative. Guests and local residents are encouraged to pick up an extra toy and drop it off at Brean Play during the festive season.
The park is accepting new, unwrapped toys and gifts until December 12th. The act of giving becomes even more convenient with no car parking charges during the winter months.
In addition to the gift drive, Brean Leisure Park invites the community to participate in a sponsored winter walk on Monday, December 11th at the park’s Brean Splash waterpark.
For a donation of £5, participants can enjoy a stroll around the holiday resort, with all proceeds going to The Salvation Army.
The walk will take place on hard road surfaces throughout the resort, and furry friends on leads are welcome to join.
