An air ambulance landed in Burnham-On-Sea on Wednesday afternoon (October 4th) to help a patient during a medical emergency.
The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance landed on the fields at the BASC Ground at 12.25pm.
Paramedics onboard assisted several land ambulance crews with a patient nearby requiring assistance.
The crew then returned to the aircraft before the helicopter lifted off without a patient onboard at around 1.40pm.
A spokesperson said: “Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was tasked to an incident which was reported as an elderly female who had suffered a fall. The patient was subsequently taken to hospital by road ambulance after being treated by our team.”
