-

Work to refurbish the Victorian shelters at Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove has been completed.

The shelters have been given a £9,450 makeover from Sedgemoor District Council.

Sedgemoor District Council spokeswoman Claire Faun said: “Work on the two Victorian sitting shelters near Marine Cove Gardens on the Esplanade at Burnham is finished.”

“The work involved using a combination of paints and application techniques to help them withstand the autumn and winter weather. We think they look great!”
