Police install ‘parking buddies’ outside school to halt drivers parking on zig zag lines

-

Burnham-On-Sea Police are using these unique new signs to warn motorists not to park on zig zag lines outside a local school.

The signs, featuring a message and image of a Police officer, are installed outside West Huntspill School at peak times to remind parents that they should not park there to drop off or collect children.

A Police spokesman says: “Complaints have been received with regards to vehicles stopping on the Zig Zag lines outside West Huntspill School.”

“We have deployed our ‘Parking Buddies’ as a reminder to drivers that it is not acceptable.”
