A martial arts gym which is popular with families in the Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge area has been temporarily closed after being damaged by flooding during this week’s torrential rain.
A fundraising page has been launched to help the Martial Arts Gym B-ELITE following this week’s flood damage
Craig Bissett, who runs the gym, says: “On Tuesday our gym was badly damaged by water in a heavy storm.”
“All our mats were damage plus walls and equipment. We are going to have to repair, rebuild or may even have to consider moving our club.”
“It is totally heart breaking with all our hard work. All my classes have now stopped and we need to find and fund a solution as soon as possible.”
