The sad death of a woman in her 60’s who died suddenly in Burnham-On-Sea today (Tuesday) is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
Avon and Somerset Police said they were called to assist ambulance crews just after 9am after reports of a sudden death in Berrow Road.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called by the ambulance service at about 9.10am this morning to reports of a sudden death in Berrow Road, Burnham-On-Sea.”
“A woman in 60’s was pronounced dead at the scene.”
“We do not consider the incident to be suspicious at this time and the matter will be referred to the coroner.”
