Community-spirited members of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Sea Cadets Unit paid their respects to the veterans of the Second World War on VE Day in a unique way.
The cadets have been learning all about VE Day by researching it online and they celebrated the 75th anniversary by baking Victory Cakes, having family singalongs and paying their respects to those who lost their lives.
Two young junior cadets, Holly and Isabelle, paid tribute by creating a video of themselves singing the iconic wartime song ‘We’ll Meet Again’ by Dame Vera Lynn while showing pictures of people on VE Day in 1945 and messages to tell the story.
