Over 280 people attended a formal ball near Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday evening (December 7th) to raise funds for a local breast cancer support charity.
The annual Somerset Breast Cancer Now Ball, held at the Batch Country House in Lympsham, was well attended in the charity’s 22nd year.
Organiser Holly Macbeth, from Somerset Breast Cancer Now, said the evening had been a huge success.
“It was an amazing evening once again – over 280 guests enjoyed a fabulous evening of lovely food provided by the fabulous team at the Batch Country House Hotel and entertainment from Riverbrew who brought the house down!”
“There was lots of fun in the casino and the guess-who raffle and the charity auction were a huge success, supported by local comedian Buster Neil Brinson. DJ Dave from Sedgemoor FM kept us dancing until 1am!”
“We can’t thank everyone enough for the kind donations of prizes to raffle and the auction, plus all who supported the evening. It was an amazing evening and so much effort was put in by the team once again to make it a huge success!”
