Burnham-On-Sea Hospital gets £1,600 financial boost from Masonic Lodge

-

Burnham-On-Sea Hospital has this week been given a £1,600 financial boost thanks to the support of a local Masonic Lodge.

The Worshipful Master of The Alfred and Guthrum Masonic Lodge in Wedmore, Gary Body, presented a cheque for £1,600 to The Friends of Burnham Hospital on Wednesday (October 23rd).

The money has been raised for new equipment by the Guthrum Masonic Lodge holding fundraising events over the past 12 months.

Bernard Spilsbury, Friends Chairman, said: “On behalf of the Friends of Burnham Hospital we would like to thank Gary, Jackie, Fred and Pat (Fred’s Wife) and all members of the Guthrum Masonic Lodge for their very generous donation to help us continue helping to make ‘our’ hospital a better place for both Patients and Staff.”

Jackie has worked in the Hospital for over 20 years and has seen firsthand what the Friends have done for the Hospital over that time.
