West Huntspill Players are set to bring the 1930s comedy play ‘Cold Comfort Farm’ to the village this week.
The award-winning drama group will perform the play from Wednesday October 30th to Saturday November 2nd at the Balliol Hall in Church Road.
The play focuses around the central character, Flora, as she moves in with her long-lost relatives at Cold Comfort Farm in March 1930. She decides to re-organise their lives with hilarious consequences.
The cast includes Janet Holderness, Alastair Murray, Victoria Baker, Judith James, Dan Webber, Clare Virgo, Amy Taylor, Alan Jarvis, Steve Taylor, Greg Fear, Tania Brine, Monica Baker, Mathew Taylor, Phil Crossland, Val Holmes, John Robinson and Larry Bennett.
Directed by June Jenkins, the show’s stage manager is Harvey Gardner assisted by Phil Crossland, box office is Mary Parish, sound is Colin Parish, lighting is Shaun Durkin and Nick Gardner, properties are Monica Baker and Val Holmes, and prompt is Jessie Maddox.
