A local firm has this week been announced as the main sponsor of this autumn’s Highbridge and Burnham-On-Sea Carnival.
Highbridge Caravans is once again giving its backing to the popular event, which is set to be held on Monday, November 4th.
Highbridge Caravans’ Tina Hook said: “We are delighted to be supporting the carnival again this year and to be sponsoring the Carnival Queen It is such a fantastic event for our area.”
“Our late founder, John Davies, was a strong supporter of the carnival and his sons are now continuing with their support.”
Jess Smith, who was crowned Burnham-On-Sea’s new Carnival Queen earlier this year, met customers at Highbridge Caravans over the weekend during its annual show to promote the event and thank the firm for its support.
Jess, a student at Highbridge’s King Alfred School Academy, said: “I’m very excited about being carnival queen this year – I’m a massive fan of the carnival It’s always such a wonderful event that everyone looks forward to.”
The Carnival Chief Marshal Loveridge added: “We are very grateful to Highbridge Caravans for its continuing support of the event. It is greatly appreciated.”
This year’s two Carnival Princesses are Belle-Seren Tetsell and Chloe Herowych, both of whom also attended the weekend event.
