Organisers of Burnham-On-Sea’s popular music and performing arts festival, BOSfest, have thanked spectators for their support after crowds of people flocked to the event over the weekend.
Visitors were treated to street art displays, live music, poetry readings, comedy, plus kids entertainment.
After a day of town centre entertainment on Saturday, the festival continued in the Manor Gardens on Sunday where big crowds enjoyed the bands Ellie Moonshine and the Prohibition Band, Recovering Satellites, Dry White Bones, musician Nick Harper and the Bhangra Band R.S.V.P. alongside kids entertainment and stalls.
Talking to Burnham-On-Sea.com, organiser Tanya Dyer said: “It’s been a fantastic weekend – a huge success. We thank all the performers, spectators and our amazing team of helpers for all their help. We are already looking forward to next year!”
During Saturday, street artists including SP Zero, Andrew Burns Colwill, Dammo and John D’oh and others created colourful artwork in the town centre.
There was also entertainment from Burnham crime writer Damien Boyd, childrens entertainer Lucy Lost-It, Circus Skills lady Kiam, childrens’ author Sonny Topham, School of Hardknox, poets Becky Lyons with Richard Curtis, Janine Wharmby and others. Teatime comedy came from comedians Tom Glover, Rob Hughes and Robert Perry.
The Ritz, Princess Theatre and The Vape Escape all played host to homegrown electronic music presented by Oktober Klub with SK2 + MAESTRO John Johnson, Rob Bragg and others.
