Four kind-hearted Burnham-On-Sea Brownies have raised over £100 for a cancer support charity by organising a successful fundraising bingo night.
Gracie, Holly, Leah and Orla from 4th Burnham-On-Sea Brownies have completed lots of activities and challenges during three years in the Brownies to achieve their gold award.
“The last challenge was to organise a fundraising event for which they choose a bingo fun night when the girls made flyers, baked cakes to sell, arranged for family and friends to donate raffle prizes, sold candy floss and organised bingo games,” says a spokeswoman.
“They raised a superb £117.29 for Macmillan Cancer Support.”
Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.
