Hundreds of people headed to Burnham-On-Sea’s Manor Gardens on Sunday (July 7th) when the town’s season of free outdoor concerts continued with Picnic In The Park.
The audience was treated to a superb line-up of local music acts during an afternoon of dry, mild weather.
The event began with the guitar and sweet vocals of Emily Elswood and the original songs of 3 Hardboiled Egg (heads!), followed by popular Burnham band Drop The Mic, and the harmonies and guitar of Luke and Dusica as Little Secrets. The event was headlined by Bristol swing and dance band, The Blues Happenings.
The organisers at CADS — the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society — said the event had been a big success. “It was a really great afternoon,” said organiser Mike Murphy.
