Over 200 local musicians and singers took part in a Highbridge church’s day-long music marathon on Saturday (June 15th) to raise funds.
St John’s Church held the eight-hour event from 2pm-10pm and had a steady stream of members of the public to watch through the day.
Performers include individuals singing, instrumental performers, with songs from the shows, King Alfred Concert band, Cameloats band, Coastline Singers, Tumbleweed band, and to finish the evening off will be Rock Choir.
Speaking to Burnham-On-Sea.com at the event, Rev Dan Crouch said: “Our huge thanks go to all the performers – we saw amazing talent from well over 200 musicians aged from 7 to 77. Thank you to them all for giving up their time to entertain everyone. The church is here for all the community.”
