Today: King Alfred School Academy students hold arts festival in Burnham-On-Sea

-

Talented students from Highbridge’s King Alfred School Academy are displaying their artistic skills at an arts festival this week.

A two-day festival is being held on Monday June 17th and Tuesday 18th at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre from 5.30-8.30pm each night.

The two evenings will consist of dance, drama and music performances from students as well as an art and photography exhibition. There will also be a sneak preview of scenes from the upcoming school production ‘Guys & Dolls’.

Head of Music & Head of Creative Arts Laura Whiteoak told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We encourage anyone to come down to either of the evenings and take in our art festival. It’s a chance to celebrate the arts within our school as well as show off our incredible student’s talents.”
