Brent Knoll village fete will be held this afternoon (Saturday, June 8th) with a great line-up of entertainment and family fun.
There will be plenty of activities for all ages, including entertainment from the Brent Knoll School dancers and the Chalice Morris Men.
“The theme this year is ‘circus’, which should give everyone a lot of scope for dressing up and for decorating stalls,” said a spokesman.
“There will be plenty of activities for all ages and we are looking forward to a visit from the King Alfred’s Concert Band, plus our regular and delightful visits from the Brent Knoll School dancers and the Chalice Morris Men.”
There will also be cakes, a barbecue, cider, a Pimms stall, books, flowers, plants and a tombola plus raffles.
The event starts at 2pm on the village green and it runs through the afternoon. Entrance is by programme, costing just £1. (Children under 14 years are free).
