-

The Reeds Arms pub, on Burnham-On-Sea seafront, re-opens on Friday June 7th following a £600,000 refurbishment project.

The popular pub, which originally opened in May 2004, has undergone extensive refurbishment and redecoration work over the past few weeks.

Inside the pub, which has been completely redecorated, there is a new colour scheme, new lighting and carpet has been installed throughout, with existing furniture reupholstered and refurbished.

In the beer garden, brand new seating has been installed with booth seats facing the sea. The ladies and gents toilets have also been completely refurbished and redecorated.

New self-service coffee machines have also been installed, together with improved bar dispensing equipment, front of house.

Behind the scenes, new pizza ovens have been installed in the kitchen and new staff facilities have been added.

Pub manager Oli Haskins told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Wetherspoon has spent £600,000 on The Reeds Arms, providing further investment into the town, in the pub’s 15th anniversary year.”

“My team and I are looking forward to welcoming customers back into the pub and we are confident that they will be impressed by the refurbishment of the building.”
