Over 100 people attended a popular Teddy Bear’s Picnic for young families at Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Friends of Marine Cove organised the free event to mark the May Bank Holiday, with music provided by King Alfred’s Brass Ensemble along with children’s games and activities.
Along with a teddy bear hunt, there was also a ‘dress your bear competition’ with a prize for the best-dressed guest!
A spokeswoman said: “Our thanks go to everyone who came along – we had a good turnout even though the cool winds did reduce the number of visitors a bit.”
