Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens are set to host a Teddy Bear’s Picnic for families today (Bank Holiday Monday).
The Friends of Marine Cove are organising the free event from 11am-1pm to mark the May Bank Holiday.
Music will be provided by members of King Alfred’s Brass Ensemble and there will also be many children’s games and activities.
There will also be a ‘dress your bear competition’ with a prize for the best-dressed guest at the picnic!
“Bring along the whole family, your own picnic and teddy bear and enjoy the relaxing surroundings of Marine Cove Gardens,” says a spokeswoman.
“Take part in a Teddy Bear Hunt, games, fun, music and activities, and take part in some free family-friendly activities. Children of all ages are welcome but must be supervised by an adult.”
