Police arrest three people and issue witness appeal after Brean incident

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following an incident in Brean on Bank Holiday Monday.

A public order incident happened in South Road, near the Sandhu fish and chip shop, at about 12.10am on Monday 22nd April.

“Four people were injured – two requiring hospital treatment,” says a Police spokesman. 

“Three people – two men and a woman – have been arrested in connection with the incident. They have all been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.”

“We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident. In particular, we would like to hear from anyone who may have mobile phone footage.”
