Thousands of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge homes were briefly without electricity following a power cut today (Tuesday).
Western Power Distribution confirmed there was a temporary interruption in the towns at around 4pm.
“10,539 homes were without power for about a minute until we moved them over to another supply,” spokeswoman Irene Evans told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Our investigations are ongoing into what caused the cut.”
The company apologised for any inconvenience to customers.
