Burnham-On-Sea BMX club welcomes 260 riders for leading regional competition

Burnham-On-Sea BMX Club welcomed 260 riders from across the region when it hosted a leading competition at the weekend.

The club, based at Apex Park, held the opening round of the South West regional round of the BMX championships Series which attracted riders and their families from across the south west.

It’s one of 11 races across the region in which cyclists aged from 3 up to 60 take part.

“It was a very successful event that gave Burnham’s riders a chance to share their track with riders from across the country,” said a spokesperson.

If you want to try BMX, then head along to the track on a Tuesday or Thursday evening between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
