The Met Office has issued a new yellow warning for high winds in the Burnham-On-Sea area today (Saturday, March 16th).
A spell of strong winds will affect the area, say forecasters, with the strongest winds likely in the afternoon and evening.
“Winds of up to 60mph and heavy rain will sweep through the area, potentially bringing down trees and causing damage,” said a spokesman.
“The Met Office warning is in force from 4am until 9pm today.“
The weather is due to turn milder and brighter next week.
