A group of young Burnham-On-Sea swimmers are celebrating success in a regional event.
The Burnham-On-Sea Swim and Sports Academy Swim Team Junior Development Squad, which comprises of swimmers aged 8-12 years, put in a fantastic performance at the Bristol Penguin Junior Gala at Easton Leisure.
They competed against teams from Severnside Tritons, Backwell, Soundwell, Bristol North and Bristol Penguins.
“Lots of personal bests were achieved from the 24-strong squad, to take a fantastic second place overall!” said Sara Conklin Cox. “Congratulations go to the team.”
