Burnham-On-Sea got a covering of snow on Thursday evening in the first real taste of winter for the town.
Persistent snowfall started at around 7pm and continued into the early hours of Friday, covering roads and pavements in a wintry blanket.

With freezing temperatures forecast overnight, motorists and pedestrians are being urged by Police to take extra care and to only travel if necessary.
