West Huntspill Horticultural Society is to hold an event dedicated to growing potatoes.
A ‘potato evening’ will be held on Friday March 1st at 7.30pm in West Huntspill Methodist Church when local gardeners will be welcome.
There will be a talk on container growing by Tony Gray, when gardeners will be able to pick up tips and advice on how to grow the best spuds.
Visitors will also be able to collect a potato to grow for the ‘Heaviest Potato Crop Class’ at the West Huntspill Horticultural Society Summer Show. Free entry, refreshments and a raffle.
