Shoppers in Burnham-On-Sea were this week surprised to see notices put up in the windows of a High Street shop advising them that it has been repossessed.
The former S&A Linens store has been operating as a second-hand shop at 9-10 The High Street under a different manager for the past few months.
But, as pictured here, posters have been placed in the windows stating: “Do not enter. This shop has been repossessed and is now closed.”
A Bailiff Possession Notice is also on public display in a window, stating that the “landlord has exercised their right to instruct bailiffs to peaceably re-enter and take possession of the premises.”
