Young fundraisers from nursery in Burnham-On-Sea have raised hundreds of pounds for Children In Charity by holding a sponsored walk in the town.
Burnham’s Footprints Nursery held a sponsored pyjama walk along the seafront on Friday (November 16th) for the BBC fundraising campaign.
A spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We held a sponsored pyjama walk from our base in Adam Street to Burnham-On-Sea Yacht Club and back along the seafront.”
“The children had a great time on the walk, singing songs as they went with the practitioners and parents that helped along the way.”
“We are still waiting for some more donations to come in, but at the moment it is looking like we raised at least £300 – a huge amount, which we are extremely proud of!”
