Police issue witness appeal after woman seriously injured in collision

Burnham-On-Sea Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious road collision in East Huntspill last month.

The incident happened on Church Road near the junction with New Road at around 6.45pm on Monday October 22nd, as first reported here.

“A woman was out walking her dog when she was in a collision with a gold coloured Seat Ibiza travelling along Church Road,” says a Police spokesman.

“The woman was left with critical head injuries and was flown by air ambulance to a hospital in Bristol where she remains in a serious but stable condition.”

“We would like to ask anyone who may have been in the area or witnessed this incident to please make contact with PC 2229 Dalton in the Road Policing Unit by calling 101 or emailing matthew.dalton@avonandsomerset.police.uk.”
