A cyclist was hurt in a collision on the M5 Edithmead roundabout near Burnham-On-Sea on Wednesday morning (October 24th).
Police and the ambulance service were called to the scene just after 8.30am after a man was reported to be injured.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called at around 8.30am to a road traffic incident reportedly involving a cyclist and a car at the Edithmead roundabout.”
“We sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to attend the incident. A male patient was transported by road ambulance to Weston General Hospital with injuries to his back and ankle.”
