A fundraising race night is to be held for Burnham-On-Sea’s rescue hovercraft charity BARB Search & Rescue in November.
The charity is organising the fun adults-only evening at The Avenue Tennis Club in Burnham on Saturday 10th November.
Tickets are priced at £5 and include a ploughman’s supper.

BARB, which has been running for over 25 years, operates two rescue hovercrafts and inshore rescue boats from Burnham – it’s funded entirely by donations.
Therefore, the charity says it greatly welcomes support. It is operated by a dedicated team of volunteers who are on-call 24 hours a day to assist the Coastguard with incidents along Somerset’s coastline.
