A Burnham-On-Sea care home has held a seaside-themed open day to welcome visitors.
The Towans in Berrow Road opened its doors and laid on a range of coast-themed activities.
Jo Boobyer, activity co-ordinator, said: “As we are a home by the sea we decided to have a seaside theme day.”
“Not all homes are the same and we wanted to show what we can offer. Staff dressed up, we had donkeys, Punch and Judy and live entertainment.”
“Rebecca sang songs connected with the holidays or seaside and we had refreshments and displays showing sone of the things we do while we showed visitors around our home.”
“Residents said they had a wonderful time and visitors enjoyed seeing our home and rooms.”
