Bright sunshine brought crowds of visitors to a popular summer fete in Berrow on Saturday (August 26th).
St Mary’s Church hosted its annual event on the green outside the church where a line-up of family entertainment was set-up.
The fete was opened by Burnham-On-Sea author Damien Boyd, pictured above, who said it was a “great honour” to be invited.
Berrow’s Nessa Holbrow and Sir Jack Spratticus, who won at Crufts, also gave a display in the main arena.
Alongside traditional stalls and games, there was entertainment from Berrow-based Kung Fu group Fei Lung Kwan and local dancers.
Visitors also supported stalls offering cream teas, crafts, a tombola, a silent auction, jewellery, books and toys.
Rev Jonathan Philpott thanked all those who’d come along and those who helped to organise the successful event.
