Burnham-On-Sea theatre to hold inaugural tea dance this Sunday

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre is to hold its inaugural tea dance this Sunday.

Organised by The Friends of the Princess, the event is set to be the first of several regular Tea Dances run as fundraisers for the theatre.

The Friends support the work of The Princess by fundraising throughout the year – Kurling and the Bazaar are the current events and the Tea Dances will be a great addition to the life of The Princess.

The hosts will be the Friends Committee members and dancing will be led by Malcolm Stratford who runs our annual ‘Strictly’ days and is an experienced leader of Tea Dances.

The floor of the auditorium is a beautiful sprung dance floor and with us now holding Ballroom & Latin classes on a Tuesday and with the Tea Dances, it is getting the use it deserves.

All abilities are more than welcome to come along for this social event. Teas and cake will be available and there is no need to bring a partner.

Tickets for the event, which starts at 2pm, are available from the Box Office £8 in advance (£5 from members of the Friends) or £10 on the door on the day.
