Hundreds of people headed to a wedding fayre at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre on Sunday (February 18th).

A wide range of exhibitors showed off their goods and services, all of which were intended to make the ‘big day’ for couples more special and hassle-free.

Theatre Manager Sam Nicol told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a great event – we had over 80 couples and their entourages visit us and the traders gave us positive feedback with plenty of bookings.”

She thanked Nick Tolley for all his help in setting up the event and added: “We definitely intend to hold a second fair in the future.”

Free goodie bags were available to those attending and there were also demonstrations and entertainment laid on during the day.

During the day, Rosemay’s Florist also donated their floral arrangements from their stand to a raffle for local charity Music For The Memory. Crooner Dennis Salmon, who is a fundraiser for the charity, also performed several songs during the day.
