Four Burnham-On-Sea runners boost local charity with fundraising

-

A group of local runners has completed the Bristol 10k run in aid of a Burnham-On-Sea charity.

Terry Bird, Michelle Bird, Nico Luss and Nadine Scott completed Sunday’s run in aid of local charity Somewhere House Somerset.

The band of runners has raised well over £1,000 for the charity, and will also be running the Bristol Half Marathon later on this year.

The charity provides counselling and rehabilitation support for the most vulnerable members of society who are facing some of life’s biggest challenges.

Angie Clarke, CEO of Somewhere House Somerset, added: “We are thrilled and deeply touched that the Home Events team are doing this for us. Every penny raised goes back into the charity and it means we can continue to support the local community with any mental health issues they are experiencing. Their generosity is truly inspiring.”
