theme of a special history talk in the town this week.
Sedgemoor History Group is holding its final talk in the current
programme of events this Wednesday 13th June.
talk will cover many notable and interesting people with connections
to the town.

town in the nineteenth century, the speaker, Pat Nicholls, has discovered
some that are not on any of the usual lists, including several women,"
says a spokesman.

talk starts at 7pm this Wednesday in the Lecture Hall at King Alfred
School, Highbridge. Visitors are welcome to attend for just £2.
