Motorists are being warned that Burnham-On-Sea’s M5 northbound motorway slip road will be closed tonight (Monday).

The northbound slip road at junction 22 for Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge will be closed to allow Highways England to carry out work.

The closure will begin at 8pm tonight and the slip road is scheduled to be fully re-opened by 6am tomorrow morning (Tuesday).

“There will be a full closure of the junction 22 Northbound entry slip road with a full closure overnight for horticultural works,” says Highways England.

“Delays are possible while this work goes ahead between 8pm on February 12th and 6am on February 13th.”

Highways England says diversions will be in force and clearly sign-posted throughout the closure.
