A public consultation event is being held today (Monday) on plans to create more affordable housing in Lympsham.

“Lympsham Parish Council, working with with Sedgemoor District Council’s Affordable Housing Development Team (AFHDT), are keen to see new affordable homes built that enable local people to access a suitable home at a price they can afford where they were born, grew up, work or have support and social networks.”

Visitors to the drop-in session will be able to find out more about affordable homes and how to apply for an affordable home.

Builders EG Carter and Co will be on hand to talk about a new proposed development at West Road, while the architects will talk about the layout of the 20 homes which include eight affordable housing units.

Come along to find out more from 4.30pm-7.30pm at Lympsham Manor Hall in Rectory Way BS24 OEW. Affordable Housing Development Team (AFHDT)
