King Alfred School becomes part of multi-academy trust
King Alfred School has this week officially become part of a high-achieving

Trust after a year of being assisted by its leaders and staff.
Principal Nathan Jenkins began in his role last month and says he
is now eager to make the school one of the best around.

fastest improving schools in Somerset. This term, as part of a series
of ongoing improvements, it has also launched an impressive new
student uniform with blazer and tie.
Priory Learning Trust has a strong track record in leading schools
to high achievement - one of its schools, Worle Community School,
has become one of the fastest improving in the South West during
the last two years.

Highbridge school has become one of Somersets most improved
schools and has a positive momentum with much-improved GCSE exam
results, site improvements, and a recent £1.2 million cash
boost from the Government.
